The story so far

About Paolo

Paolo is a portable user model for AI. It remembers how you think, decide, communicate, and work, then makes that context available through MCP.

Bring your conversation history from ChatGPT, Claude, or Claude Code. Paolo turns it into a model of your preferences, working style, decisions, and active work. You can use that model across compatible AI clients, and your data stays yours.

How it works

Start of conversation

Context when it matters

When you start a session, a connected AI client can check Paolo for relevant context from your past work: preferences, decisions, project history, and how you think.

During conversation

Learns what matters

When you make a choice or express a preference, Paolo records it. Your user model gets sharper with every conversation.

End of conversation

Carries decisions forward

Paolo saves key decisions and context so your next session can pick up where the last one ended.

Switching tools?

Bring your history

Upload your ChatGPT or Claude export and Paolo extracts how you think, not just what you talked about. New AI sessions start with context from day one.

Founder's note

Hi, I'm Laura.

I use a lot of AI tools. Claude for strategy. ChatGPT when I need to think out loud. Claude Code when I'm building. They were all useful, and every new conversation still began with me explaining myself again.

So I built Paolo.

Paolo keeps the parts of those conversations that matter: how I work, what I've decided, the projects I'm working on, and the preferences I don't want to repeat. It makes that context available to whichever compatible AI I open next.

The first version was for me. I wanted to stop reconstructing the last conversation every time I opened a new one. It worked, so I kept building.

Now I spend less time re-explaining and more time doing the work. I get some attention back for my family, friends, and being outside.
